We are looking for an industrial engineer EMEA at Heverlee.
Suez is specialized in the treatment of water applications.

Your tasks:
  • Performing laboratory-scale simulation studies for industrial process water and wastewater applications, evaluating the efficiency of treatment products and demonstrating the performance optimization of processes.
  • Design and build of new simulation units, mimicking the customer processes on a lab-scale or pilot-scale.
In cooperation with Product Application Specialist assist in the design of innovative treatment solutions.
  • Participate in or manage R&D projects focused on new product development for industrial water treatment applications.
  • Summarizing the results and presenting a critical analysis of the results (internally and externally) as well as next steps in the research

Profiel

  • Master’s degree in Chemical, Environmental or Biotechnology engineering
  • Demonstrated experience in industrial process water treatment and/or wastewater treatment using chemicals
  • Willing to travel for short periods of time within the EMEA region
  • Excellent conceptual problem-solving skills-ability with a critical analytical mind-set
  • Pro-active problem solver driven by high quality standards
  • Keen to embrace and implement technology evolutions
  • IT: expert level in MS Office-suite and general pc-software
  • Fluency in English (verbal and written), knowledge of Dutch is surplus
  • Proficiency in professional reporting/communication to customers
