Information Security Manager (m/f/d)

As our Information Security Manager (m/f/d) at I.R.I.S. P&T, you will be the key responsible for development and implementation of an IT Security Strategy in our Organization

Position responsibilities:

  • Designing, implementing and maintaining IT security policies, processes and procedures
  • Continuous Information Security Risk Management, Business Continuity Management, Incident Management
  • Investigate suspected and actual security incidents and produce reports with recommendations and ensure any remedial action is taken
  • Consult with IT and business leaders to ensure that security is factored into the evaluation, selection, installation and configuration of hardware, applications and software
  • Support in the execution of reviews and audits
  • Introduction of awareness measures to reinforce security behaviors when handling information
  • ·Place of Work: Aachen (Germany) or Louvain-la-Neuve (Belgium)

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • 3+ years professional experience in an Information Security Role
  • Bachelor or Master´s degree in Business Administration, Law or comparable studies with focus on Information Security or comparable job experience
  • Experience with external auditors /assessors
  • Understanding of IT Concepts
  • Knowledge of Data Protection principles
  • Proactive working style and strong individual initiative
  • Strong communication skills to articulate security topics effectively at all level
  • Excellent knowledge of English
