  • Develop and document an automated procedure for our Factory Integration Test
  • Optimize the FIT pre-requirements and installation procedures
  • Investigate portability of the developed procedures to future technologies
  • Interface with other departments on product deficiencies, whilst acting as the customer’s liaison.
What will you learn during this internship?
  • Learn about next generation solutions for broadband IP networking via satellite networks
  • Development of a procedure against an existing tool and existing API’s
  • Work with ground satellite systems and high data rate satellite modems
  • Get RF field experience with VSAT installation, activation (line-up) and troubleshooting.
  • Learn about virtualization frameworks based in OpenStack like Windriver or VMware.
  • Reinforce your knowlede in IP and networking
  • Learn about RF communications
  • Improve skills in Linux and programming
QualificationsYour profile and qualifications
  • Have knowledge of scripting or programming language supported on Linux platform
  • Knowledge or practical experience with IP-based networks with a CCNA certification or equivalent experience with switch & router configuration and tooling e.g. Wireshark.
  • Knowledge or practical experience with OSI model and protocols: HTTP, UDP, TCP, ICMP, IP, MAC.
  • Practical experience with Linux CLI and scripting languages e.g. Bash, Python.
  • Professional verbal and written knowledge of English.
