A company active in the banking sector is currently looking to hire an Internal Auditor to join their offices in Brussels.

Your main responsibilities as the new Internal Auditor will include:

  • Evaluate the risk management processes and the internal control system of the bank’s various departments
  • Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of the resources deployed by the bank to achieve its objectives
  • Conduct audit through interviews, documentary analysis and tests
  • Write a report at the end of each assignment which may lead to the formalisation of recommendations with added value for the bank
  • Monitor the implementation of the recommendations to ensure that the action plan defined by the auditee in response to the recommendations is implemented

Your profile:

  • You have a degree in accounting or finance
  • You have at least 3-4 years’ experience in internal or external audit
  • You are fluent in French and Dutch, both orally and in writing

Your strengths:

  • Thanks to your expertise in Excel, you feel able to take the lead of the consolidation process
  • You are able to work independently, and you are team spirited
  • You are organized, rigorous and able to take a step back
  • You have an analytical mind, a real capacity for synthesis and excellent writing skills
