International R&I Packaging Developer

工作内容

As Packaging Developer, you are responsible for the development of new packaging related to product innovations and to help us improving our current packaging portfolio to make it more sustainable. You ensure that the packaging fulfill the consumer’s needs while guaranteeing that the impact on the planet is reduced to a minimum (sustainable materials and recyclability). You work from the office in Wevelgem and report directly to the R&I Sr. Packaging Developer.

• You are actively involved in cross-functional development & improvement projects and you are responsible for the packaging specification definition. The packaging development track is defined from pilot testing till industrial validation. Knowledge and insight on sustainable packaging materials and the effect on the shelf life of the product are the basis.
• You advise and support internal departments on the basis of your in-depth knowledge on packaging materials towards a continuous improvement of our product range.
• In order to work in multidisciplinary teams, you build excellent interdepartmental relationships.
• You foster your knowledge and insight on sustainable packaging materials and the effect on the shelf life of the product. As part of international network of Danone packaging experts you will be able to learn on the job, follow training, go to fairs, have meetings with suppliers, etc.
• As we have production locations all over Europe, short traveling is required.
