Company Information: Your team and your responsibilities:
Your project
The project tackles the problem of connected novelty detection where a collaboration between edge and cloud modules is carried on to efficiently detect novel input to a pretrained deep model. The edge (e.g. autonomous driving car) is provided by a light novelty detection (ND) module to detect possible anomalies (novel input). Those detections are then sent to a more sophisticated module in the cloud where a more adequate inspection is carried on. The edge module will be updated based on the inspection results e.g. prototypes for normal objects will be incrementally updated.
