Job Description Summary As an Energy, Environment, Health and Safety (E²HS) Specialist you will be responsible for providing support to maintain the company’s strategy of E²HS programs. It may be required to provide its support and/or contribution to E²HS program deployments in the fields of ergonomics, industrial hygiene, and safety. As E²HS Specialist you work under the responsibility of a more experienced EHS manager. You will support and customize/adapt the programs for the FraBeLux region (France, Belgium, Luxembourg) and manage projects in the region.Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Support maintaining ISO 14001 / 45001 / 50001 certifications for the FraBeLux region:
    • Analysis of the existing (current procedures to be updated or created according to ISO standards and local FraBeLux regulations)
    • Collaboration with European, Middle East & Africa (EMEA), Healthcare and Corporate EHS teams
    • Participate in the development of employee training material (Dutch, French & English)
    • Update the GE Internal Program called Framework 2.0 under the GEnsuite tool.
  • Work on elements EHS 7.5 – 15 / ISO 50001: Control of the fuel consumption of the travelling staff’s fleet and identify awareness actions.
  • Work on the elements EHS 7.9 - energy recording and Arc flash: follow-up of the implementation of the program
  • Work on element EHS 9.3/ ISO 14001, waste management (WEEE, batteries) and participate in the animation of the working group environment.
  • Work on EHS 9.3, update Environment support during customer tenders (Hospitals, clinic, etc.) and respond to tenders.
  • Follow up and organize the occupational Health checks/visit.
  • Follow up and organize E²HS Classroom training
  • Communication of E²HS alerts (accidents by email or Yammer Apps for example?)

Qualifications

  • Local studies link E²HS or equivalent work experience.
  • Knowledge of ISO 14001/45001/50001 regulations can be an advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and program and project management skills.
  • Written and oral communication in Dutch/French/ English languages
  • Knowledge of computer/communication tools, proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Initiative, proactive, able to work independently with minimum guidelines.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills, creating solutions and commitment of action plan deadlines.
