Elia est le gestionnaire du réseau belge à haute tension de 380 kV à 30 kV. Elia est responsable du développement et de l’entretien de ce réseau, l’ouvre aux utilisateurs et règle les flux d’énergie. Le groupe Elia, c’est également une équipe de 2000 professionnels qui ont pour mission d’assurer la continuité de l’approvisionnement en électricité de la Belgique et d’une partie de l’Allemagne.
En tant que propriétaire et gestionnaire de réseaux de transport d’électricité en Belgique et en Allemagne Elia a un rôle et une mission importante dans le soutien et la concrétisation de la politique énergétique et climatique de l’Europe.
Description de fonction
The main trends in the energy transition, such as the decentralization and decarbonization of the electricity produc-tion or the digitalization of the electrical grid, bring their own challenges but also their own opportunities in the energy sector. To respond to these trends, the European Commission states that an accelerated deployment of consumer-oriented services is required, as outlined in the Green Deal and the new 2030 climate target.
Elia has therefore decided to create a new department called Consumer centricity whose main objective is to put the consumer at the center of this energy transition.
In order to achieve its main goal of putting the end-consumers at the center of the energy transition, the consumer centricity department needs to know more about how they work and what they want. Therefore, Elia would like to launch a large-scale survey in Belgium among end consumers. This survey aims to identify the behavior and expec-tations of the end-consumer about his electricity consumption/production.
The trainee’s mission is to:
- Have a complete understanding of the department’s vision and the various initiatives that are part of it.
- Interview initiative owners to identify what they assume they know about the end consumer and what additional information they want to know about end consumers.
- Define assumptions about the consumer behavior and expectation based on interviews.
- Present the methodology that will be used for the survey and the results analysis.
- Write the survey that will allow the assumptions gathered during the interview to be confirmed or refuted
- Find the right communication channels to circulate the survey to the largest number of end-consumers in Bel-gium.
- Analyze the results with statistical software (SPSS, R, etc) to have relevant insights.
- Present the results to the department.
- Write a full report.

Votre profil
- You are studying marketing or have marketing-related courses
- You are interested in the energy sector and more particularly in the energy transition.
- You have experience in conducting a survey.
- You can take initiative and work independently.
- You have some basic knowledge in Statistical Tool.
- You have an analytical mind.
- You speak fluent French and/or Dutch and have a good command of English. You are able to work in an interna-tional environment and write documents in English.
