Education Required

• You are regularly enrolled in a Master in Pharmacy or Medicines in an Educational Establishment located in Europe. If you are a graduate in Pharmacy or Medicine and you are in a PhD or in a specialization in commerce, we are very interested by your profile.
  

Language requirement: Proficient in Dutch/French/English

Other Requirements

• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Paying attention to details
• Team player. Able to work in and demonstrate leadership in cross-functional teams
• Computer skills: basic skills and ability to search internal and external databases
  
  

Start date: 01December2021

Duration:7 months

Requisite: The internship must be mandatory & done in the framework of the curriculum, for which an agreement must be signed between GSK, the student and the Educational Establishment.

Remuneration: according to Belgian legal requirements, the internship will not be paid. However, some expenses will be reimbursed.

What will you do?

On our internship programme you’ll receive tailored on-the-job training from industry experts combined with early responsibility to help you to develop and progress.

Your Duties Might Include

• Review of (non)-promotional material: Ensure compliance regarding promotion of medicines by performing medical scientific evaluation and review (regarding the scientific correctness, references used and legal requirements) of our (non)-promotional materials
• Lead – together with the Head Pharmaceutical Governance - the Copy-approval process of all (non) promotional materials developed within the specific Therapeutic Area
  
  • Fully understand and comply with local codes, guidelines and laws (RD 07/04/1995) to ensure the strictest requirements are met particularly with respect to delivery of promotional verses non-promotional information.
  • Fully understand and always meet the requirements described in the copy-approval SOP, the GSK Code of Practice for Promotion and Customer Interactions
• Responsible for developing training materials and ensuring medical and scientific training of newcomers. These materials are produced efficiently, are accurate, balanced and strategically aligned and meet the strictest internal and external codes of practice, standards and laws
• Contribution to some Medical Affairs activities
• Support the Head Pharmaceutical Governance in the context of his responsibilities as Responsible for Information and Publicity (RIP)
  
  

You’ll Be Excited By The Thought Of

• Integrate cross functional team (medical/marketing/sales/…) allowing you to have the experience and oversight on key ways of working within a pharmaceutical industry at BeLux level
• Build in depth expertise on local laws and regulations regarding promotion of prescription medicines and interactions between pharmaceutical industries and healthcare professionals
• Get experience on the field of pharmaceutical information (including approval of promotional material, …)

• Note: Pharmacists/physicians with at least 1 year experience in the field of pharmaceutical information can request a personal agreement number delivered by the Belgian Health Authorities as Responsible for Information and Publicity (Royal Decree 7 April 1995 on the information and publicity concerning human medicines Art. 13)
