Make your mark for patientsWe are looking for a driven IT Lead Data Intelligence who is a strong connector-communicator with a passion for doing more with (meta)data, to join our IT Data Enablement team, based in our Brussels (Anderlecht) office, BelgiumWho You’ll Work WithData has always played a crucial role throughout our activities as a patient-centric biopharma company. Through effective data governance and management practices, combined with the right tools, frameworks, and methods to leverage metadata in all its forms, we aim to improve the FAIRness of our data and enabling it to have an optimal impact on our business decisions and operations. Working with other highly skilled data enthusiasts, you will be driving and embedding the technical capabilities and IT platforms that will allow UCB to understand its data better and bring adequate governance and management in and across UCB’s data communities.What You’ll Do
  • Apply and grow our data intelligence strategy, crafting impactful solutions for all data domains
  • Be the technical product owner and overall driving force for our Collibra and other data intelligence platforms
  • Manage the data intelligence architecture and look for integration opportunities
  • Identify, evaluate, and oversee the delivery of new technology capabilities & services in this space
  • Organize and manage the development operations, liaising between data teams and service providers
  • Advise strategic initiatives around data governance as a subject matter expert
Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience and skills:
  • A Master’s degree in Computer Sciences, Engineering, or a related degree.
  • 5 years of experience on the technical side of the data governance or management
  • Solid understanding of concepts like cataloguing, data modelling, reference and master data, data quality, lineage…
  • Experience with the operations of technology solutions and management of external resources and contributors
  • Collibra ranger certification is a plus, willingness to obtain certification is required
  • Good communicator that thrives in a fast paced, challenging and always evolving environment
