Join our partner in the telecommunications sector in Zaventem as IT Support Engineer.

At Sander, we’re looking for a talented and dedicated Support Engineer for one of our partners in the telecommunications sector.

About The Company

Join a dynamic telecommunications company focused on customer satisfaction and providing cutting-edge connectivity solutions.

Role

  • First point of contact for customers, resolving connectivity and networking issues.
  • Analyze support requests and assess complexity and priority.
  • Follow up and report on requests and interventions.
  • Manage order preparation, router inventory, configuration, and site installation.
  • Monitor the network to proactively address issues.
  • Participate in duty service to support 24/7 SLA.
  • Provide support to the rest of the team when required.
  • Collaborate with external partners for prompt assistance.

Profile

  • Strong affinity for IT, technology, and innovation.
  • Technical degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Fluent in French and English. Other languages are a plus.
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
  • Team player, service-minded, and stress-resistant.
  • Independent, flexible, and a problem solver.
  • Practical knowledge of VLAN, VPN, WAN, LAN, IP routing, firewall configuration, and mobile technology (3G/4G/5G and satellite).
  • Eagerness to learn about new technologies (SD WAN, SDN) and create innovative solutions (4G bonding, Mobile VPNs, hybrid deployments).
