The IT Analyst III in the warehouse automation team is responsible for the day-to-day support and systems integration services of the IT components of the Parts Distribution warehouse automation solutions.

Responsibilities

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Deploy new warehouse automation systems and components.
  • Coordinate the implementation of supporting IT services and systems with internal and external service providers.
  • Provide system health monitoring and proactive support services.
  • Investigating and resolving of systems issues, occasionally outside office hours.
  • exploring improvements in systems applications and support processes.
  • cooperating with the client to define his requirements.
  • producing and executing action plans.
  • defining, developing, testing and implementing required systems configurations and program changes.

You will be based in the Grimbergen office, where you’ll be part of an experienced team and report to an IT Manager within Logistics Information Services.

Requirements

You have a good understanding of logistics processes and knowledge and are proficient in diverse fields of IT including:

networking, security, Databases, firewalls, server management, object-oriented programming (C or C++) with a deep expertise in at least 3 of these domains.

Candidates must be able to communicate fluently in Dutch and English.

Knowledge of OpenVMS, C programming, python, DBA, ETL and data analytics is a plus.
