Do you have a passion for engines and are you fascinated by aviation? Are you triggered by the thought of knowing an airplane engine inside and out?Our client, located near Brussels Airport, is a worldwide leader in design, development and production of aircraft engines.To expand their maintenance team, we are looking for Jet Engine Mechanics.You are responsible for (dis)assembling engines that are being serviced.
  • You receive the engines in the workshop and report any problems.
  • You dismantle and assemble the engines according to the production schedule, taking into account the quality, safety and environmental requirements.
  • You help with balancing the engine.
  • You participate in projects to improve the production process.
  • You keep documents related to your work for the sake of traceability.
  • You identify any shortcomings in the maintenance instructions and propose improvements.
Profiel
  • You have a diploma of higher secondary education (electromechanics or mechanics, car mechanics, mechanical design techniques,...) or you make up for this through relevant work experience in a technical position.
  • You have a passion for engines.
  • You have a very good knowledge of English. Knowledge of Dutch OR French is important too.
  • You are willing to work in 2 shifts.
AanbodYou work in a two-shift system (6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm).An interesting salary package with advantages is waiting for you.If your interim period is a success, you can get a permanent contract.
