Then our vacancy Credit Controller might be something for you!What does your team look like as an Credit Controller at DESOTEC?We can reassure you: no cliché ’grey mice’ accountants to be found in our dynamic 16-member Finance team, quite the contrary! The high level of seniority within the team proves that DESOTEC is a great place to work and that the Finance team is a great team to be part of.As a Credit Controller at DESOTEC, you will have the following tasks and responsibilities:- You manage our existing customer portfolio, ensuring close follow-up (by phone and email) in order to reduce our customers’ payment terms.
- You are ultimately responsible for an optimal DSO of the entire DESOTEC group.
- You are responsible for order release and examine each situation with a financially critical eye.
- You cooperate with our credit insurer for the application of credit limits and also take care of the monthly reports (overdue receivables + turnover). If necessary, you will prepare a claim file.
- You are responsible for customer and supplier creation.
- You have regular contact with colleagues from the various departments.
- You support the invoicing team during monthly closures.
- You have a bachelor’s degree, preferably in a finance or language field. Candidates with a strong desire to learn the job will also be considered!
- You have at least 3 years of relevant work experience, ideally in an international context.
- You have strong administrative skills, like to dot the i’s and have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office. Do you already have experience with Navision and/or Microsoft Dynamics? Even better!
- You function both independently and in a team and can easily integrate into an existing team.
- You work in a thorough and structured manner, are eager to learn and driven, and you also have a high sense of responsibility.
- You are strong on your feet and possess the necessary assertiveness.
- You are communicatively strong and knowledge of Dutch, English and French is required. Knowledge of German is considered a plus.
- You report to the Group Finance Director.
