We are recruiting a junior controller to be based in our offices in Wavre.

As a junior Controller, you participate in timely and accurate reporting of internal US-GAAP and Local Belgian statutory requirements, tax compliance, bank relations and daily cash management.

More Specifically, Your Tasks Will Include
  • Managing month-end close including all relevant accruals & oversee the activities
  • Analyzing monthly actual reporting variances vs. benchmarks
  • Maintaining internal control by being primary contact for internal employees and external Shared Services for all matters related to Finance processes
  • Conducting ad-hoc analysis and supporting finance on requests coming from multiple stakeholders
Required Knowledge And Experience
  • Bachelor or master’s degree in accounting, business economics or similar.
  • Min. 3 years’ experience in Controlling/Finance/Audit
  • Technical accounting expertise as demonstrated by experience with US GAAP and/or local statutory reporting
  • Demonstration of initiative, innovative thinking, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Adapt quickly and learn new tasks independently
  • Fluent in English with a good level of French and/or Dutch
  • Result driven, proven experience in a dynamic environment
  • Good communications skills both verbal and written
  • Strong analytical skills
  • MS Excel proficiency / SAP is a plus
