Junior Business Analyst


We have an exciting opportunity to join the Agfa’s Strategy & Corporate Development team that advises senior and executive leaders to drive meaningful impact within Agfa.



Mission


The department “Strategy & Corporate Development” is in charge of proposing an overall Group strategy, and assisting in its deployment, as well as of supporting each business in developing and deploying their individual strategies. The department also leads or supports any Corporate Development activity (M&A, partnerships,…), in accordance with the defined group and/or businesses’ strategy.


Tasks


  • You collect and analyze in depth information within the remit of the department’s goals
  • You interpret and generate insights from analyses to support strategic decision-making
  • Champion and present content that effectively communicates key findings and insights from analysis
  • You will support the VP Strategy & Corporate Development in proposing options and solutions that you will present to the management
  • You work closely with the Business and Function Leaders, to develop and implement high-impact corporate, business, and function strategies
  • You coordinate inter-disciplinary teams in the course of functional projects
  • You participate and/or lead discussions with internal and external parties
  • You generate trust and enthusiasm in working with its Agfa peers


Profile

We are looking for following skills to take on this challenge:

  • You have a master degree in a science or economics, preferably combined with an MBA
  • You have 3-5 years experience in a similar position
  • You are familiar with financial and analytical accounting
  • You have an inquisitive mind and excellent problem analysis abilities
  • You are a fast learner
  • You are entrepreneurial-minded, and like to tackle a variety of topics in your daily work
  • You fit well in diverse teams, you show resilience and you have strong interpersonal skills
  • You have solid communication skills, particularly in English (verbally and written); Dutch is a plus
