As a Communication Officer, you will work to support the communications and marketing department. Your focus is on creating and distributing strong content. You help write texts for internal and external communication on Impact Plan and Sustainability/ESG topics. Together with the Communication Manager and the Corporate Programs and Impact Plan Lead, you take initiatives in the field of external communication and Public Affairs to strengthen the image of KPMG, working closely with our graphic designers, PR and (digital) marketing experts.


  • Communication, marketing support and public affairs
  • Prepare content for websites, internal communication channels, social media posts, and digital newsletters (email marketing)
  • Assist with hands-on activities and preparation for our ESG partnerships and corporate programs
  • Contribute to the strategic key messaging around our Impact Plan, Sustainability/ESG, Corporate Affairs
  • Contribute to internal and external campaigns/communications, including creating content for different audiences and stakeholders from various fields (i.e. Sustainability, D&I, Public Sector, Industry)
  • Support in the development of visual material, both photo and video, which will be used for marketing and communication purposes.
  • Assist with presentations and other commercial tools for events.


Skills & Qualifications


  • In possession of a Bachelor or Master’s degree in communication, journalism or languages
  • A proactive team player with a positive attitude who’s willing to grow in a team
  • You have a strong interest in Environment, Social and Governance issues and public affairs
  • Ideally you are just starting your career or have a maximum of three years’ experience in a similar position
  • A track record of implementing forward-thinking approaches, with strong influencing skills
  • Strategic thinker, can "connect the dots" on various global and local initiatives and a ’problem-solver’ who can take initiative and offer solutions
  • An excellent communicator with a knack for speaking and working with different personalities and teams
  • Multi-tasking capability; must be able to coordinate more than one project and various tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to establish strong relationships and build and manage multi-stakeholder partnerships
