Description

We are looking for an Junior IT system administrator to support our IT team in the management of our cloud applications, devices, networks and IT platforms. This is a diverse role reporting to the head of IT and based in our Antwerp office with flexible working opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • System Maintenance and Support
  • Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Cloud applications and platforms
  • Assist in managing the O365 and Azure environments.
  • Provide support for the Sharepoint sites (user access management, site management).
  • Act as 1st line support agent for other business cloud platforms.
  • Network Administration
  • Support the maintenance of local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs).
  • Assist in monitoring network performance and implementing necessary changes for

improvement.

  • Help with questions and issues related to our video conference rooms.
  • Security Management
  • Assist in implementing and managing security measures to protect company data and systems.
  • Monitor security alerts and help respond to potential security incidents.
  • Participate in regular security audits and compliance checks.
  • Configure and update Mircosoft Device Management (Intune).
  • Data Backup and Recovery
  • Support the management of backup and recovery solutions.
  • Ensure regular backups are performed and validate the integrity of backup data.
  • Assist in disaster recovery planning and testing.
  • Documentation and Reporting
  • Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, procedures, and user guides.
  • Assist in generating regular reports on system performance, security, and usage.
  • Collaboration and Communication
  • Work closely with the IT team to ensure seamless operation of all IT services.
  • Communicate effectively with non-technical staff to provide training and support.
  • Collaborate with vendors and external support teams as needed.

Skills, Knowledge And Expertise

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 to 3 years’ working experience.
  • You have good knowledge of Microsoft Cloud platforms like O365, Azure, Intune, Sharepoint.
  • You are familiar with modern authentication methodologies and IT security.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Powerapps and PowerAutomate is a plus.
  • You have good analytical skills.
  • You are fluent in English plus Dutch.
  • You have excellent interpersonal, time management and organizational skills.
