We are excited to be expanding our digital marketing and e-commerce team in line with our ongoing digital acceleration! This is an incredibly exciting time for Perrigo as we continue to strengthen our digital footprint! We are seeking a Junior Social Media Marketeer to join our Belgian based team. This position will be responsible for managing all paid social media activities for our diverse brand portfolio as well as all aspects of social media buying for the brands!

You Will
  • challenge and guide brand managers on choosing the right social media strategy in line with their marketing objectives.
  • create a social media plan with the right KPI’s and in line with the briefing and objectives.
  • execute the social media plan, mainly in the Facebook business manager.
  • monitor the performance during the campaign versus the KPI agreed and suggest optimizations to improve performance.
  • make a final evaluation of the campaign when ended, evaluating the performance vs KPI’s, draw learnings and suggest optimizations for upcoming social campaign.
It Is Important That You
  • understand the marketing objectives and translate them into the right social media plan.
  • organize campaigns in the right way in the FB business manager.
  • constantly monitor the social campaigns and be obsessed by always improving the results.
  • Translate numbers from social media campaign into clear results and learnings.
  • experiment and test with (new) social media tools and mechanics and be able to draw clear learnings out of these experiments/tests.
  • keep track of latest evolutions in social media that could be useful for our business. Translate the opportunities in the tools/new mechanics into business opportunities.
Your Profile

  • You have a higher degree but above all you are interested in the analytical side of digital marketing and mainly social media.
  • Preferably, you have experience in social media planning and buying and you have worked in the Facebook Business Manager. We will not work with an external agency so you need to be able to set up, monitor and understand campaigns in FB business manager yourself.
  • You have a strong entrepreneurial spirit and have strong analytical skills (Google analytics + FB business manager).
  • You have a hands-on mentality, a no-nonsense spirit and are determined to always deliver against objectives. You are open minded, solution driven and a strong team player. You also need to have good organizational, project management and presentation skills.
  • You have an eye for detail and can spot opportunities or errors in a social campaign in a fast way and fix those.
  • Strong command of the English and Dutch Languages
