Roles & Responsibilities

At KPMG’s digital risk management & assurance (DRMA) services we are looking for individuals who are interested in the following topics:
  • Penetrate and defend large organizations in both Belgium and the rest of the world
  • Make use of the newest technologies and tools during different cyber security engagements
  • Develop new testing methods and techniques to identify vulnerabilities and entry points that attackers may use to exploit applications, networks, and systems
  • Utilize and recognize common attacker tools, tactics, and procedures
  • Develop your skills and knowledge to become a cyber expert in your area of interest
  • Enable yourself and other members of the team to keep on learning every day
  • Engage in large projects at International customers
  • Be immerged in an environment that stimulates entrepreneurship and taking ownership
  • Knowledge of a data protection and GDPR or a strong interest in the topic
  • Assist clients in setting up monitoring processes, tools and controls around the protection of personal data while building and managing excellent client relationships across a range of clients
  • Develop internal networks and maintaining excellent relationships with colleagues across KPMG as well as help coach and train team members to grow the knowledgebase of the team
Continuous growth of knowledge around Cyber & Privacy services through certifications, internal/external webinars, case studies, training, community and other resources are also part of your role.

Skills & Qualifications

As a professional working in the Digital Risk Management & Assurance cluster (Antwerp or Zaventem) you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of topics within technology risk related areas. Each of these areas require a specific set of capabilities. We are looking for candidates with eagerness to learn and demonstrate curiosity about Cyber Security.
You hold a Master’s or Bachelor degree in technology, economics or business studies (or have a Bachelor degree and the equivalent in practical experience).
While academic qualifications are important, there are several other main competences we highly value, including:
  • A broad interest in how data & technology can help transform and improve business processes
  • Strong affinity to technical cyber security topics (e.g. network security, penetration testing, incident response, OT security)
  • Strong affinity to data protection topics spanning from the more technical one (e.g. encryption, access rights, etc.) to the more legal ones (such as GDPR)
  • Enthusiasm about working in a project-based environment
  • Eagerness to learn and make an impact
  • Strong client orientation and being a real team player
  • Strong communication skills in English and in Dutch or French
  • A natural ambition and high motivation
