Le Standard de Liège se trouve dans une phase de croissance passionnante avec comme objectif de revenir au sommet et retrouver la compétition européenne.

Le département médical cherche s’adjoindre les services d’une personne talentueuse et ambitieuse pour travailler en tant que kinésithérapeute spécialisé en rééducation sportive pour soutenir l’équipe première et le club dans son ensemble. Il s’agit d’une opportunité unique d’intégrer un service de rééducation et de travailler au sein d’une équipe pluridisciplinaire dans le but de permettre à nos joueurs d’atteindre leurs meilleures performances.

Le candidat retenu devra travailler de manière autonome, prendre des décisions et soutenir l’équipe pluridisciplinaire en ce qui concerne la rééducation des joueurs blessés. Le kinésithérapeute contribuera au développement du service par l’introduction de directives et de protocoles de rééducation, participera régulièrement à des formations continues et fournira un contenu éducatif au staff et aux joueurs. Il sera soutenu et encadré par le département performance du club.

Le candidat retenu sera titulaire d’un diplôme de kinésithérapie et aura une expérience de travail avec des athlètes de haut niveau. Outre les compétences professionnelles, nous recherchons une personne dotée d’un bon caractère pour s’intégrer à l’esprit et à la culture de notre département en pleine évolution.

Qualifications requises

· Kinésithérapeute agréé

· Une formation supérieure dans les domaines des sciences du sport, de la rééducation et/ou de la kinésithérapie est un plus

· Enregistré auprès d’un organisme professionnel reconnu

· Possède une assurance responsabilité civile professionnelle

· Qualification en gestion des traumatismes sur le terrain

· Avoir travaillé avec des athlètes professionnels pendant au moins 5 ans, si possible dans le monde du football professionnel

· Expérience dans la planification et l’exécution d’une rééducation de haut niveau

· Approche flexible des horaires de travail

· Bilingue anglais et français

Rehabilitation physiotherapist – Standard de Liège – closing 21st June 2023

Job description

Standard de Liège is in an exciting phase of growth, with the aim of getting back to the top and back into European competition.

The medical department is looking to recruit a talented and ambitious individual to work as rehabilitation physiotherapistsupporting the first team and wider club. This is an exciting opportunity to integrate a rehabilitation service and work within a multi-disciplinary team with the goal of returning our players to peak performance.

The role will require the successful candidate to work autonomously, making decisions and supporting the MDT regarding the rehabilitation of injured players. The physiotherapist will contribute to service development through the introduction of rehabilitation guidelines and protocols, participate in regular CPD and deliver educational content to staff and players. The role will be supported and mentored by the Head of Performance.

The successful applicant will have a degree in physiotherapy and experience working with high level athletes. Further to professional competencies we are looking for an individual with the right character to fit in with the spirit and culture of our evolving department.

Required qualifications

· Chartered Physiotherapist,

· Advanced training and education in the fields of sports science, rehabilitation and/or physiotherapy

· Registered with a recognised professional body

· Has professional indemnity insurance

· Pitch side trauma management qualification

· Evidence of working with professional athletes for a minimum of 5 years; previous experience working in professional football is an asset

· Evidence of high level rehabilitation planning and execution

· Flexible approach to working hours

· Bilingual ideally English and French
