As a Lab Analyst you will be responsible for a long-term program at our client site; a pharmaceutical company leading clinical nutrition solutions formulated to help patients maintain or regain their health. You will be conducting chemical and Physico-chemical testing on polymer materials used for the client’s products for different applications and therapies. Furthermore, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting different types of chemical and Physico-chemical testing on polymer materials
• Managing different analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, ICP-AES….
• Participating into the development and validation of new analytical methods in the frame of R&D projects with the guidance of senior team members
• Using appropriate techniques and methods to successfully conduct specific assignments within negotiated deadlines
• Demonstrating work knowledge of technical theories and principles in analytical method within area of expertise
• Participate (as author, concurrer or verifier) in writing of routine protocols, reports, and analytical procedures (in English) to support project activities
• Interpreting experimental data and presenting conclusions to your supervisor
• Communicating with the client for shared understanding of need analysis, expectations, and interpretation of results
• Reporting any issues within area of work (out of trend, out of specification results, equipment issue or conflict in activities…), propose solutions and participate to investigations
• Adhering to the quality systems, understand, and apply applicable corporate, divisional, and departmental requirements as relevant
• Maintaining laboratory reagents, materials, and equipment in good operating order
• Adhering to general and specific environmental, health & safety (EHS) guidelines.

Qualifications

• Educational background in chemistry
• Have a good knowledge of chemistry and/or analytical techniques (HPLC, GC, GC-MS, ICP-AES, ICP-MS, IR, UV, DSC…) and willing to learn and apply different analytical techniques
• Ideally, show a previous experience in an analytical environment (GxP)
• Able to identify and solve technical issues thanks to his/her critical mind
• Be able to work in a team environment and demonstrate an inclusion attitude
• Technical English writing proficiency to author internal reports papers
• Demonstrate flexibility and ability to shift gears between projects comfortably
• Good level in French is required
