Are you an experienced Formulation Scientist ready to take your career to the next step? Look no further!
A multinational Drug Development company is now hiring for a rare opportunity in the drug product formulation team. This team is made up of over 20 scientists all working on formulation of parental drugs based on small molecules. These scientists typically stay for a long period of years, and as such this is a rare opening.
They are currently looking for a Principal Scientist whom can work autonomously form end-to-end on projects through different stages from early to mid and late stages. Alternatively a Senior Scientist whom need minimal supervision, and can quickly progress into a principal position. The products vary greatly in therapeutic areas, and stages in development. You will be working on both oral and parental formulation projects.
You will collaborate with various teams to ensure the projects are running smoothly and timely. Your responsibility will include formulation development, and process development for the drug product manufacturing. As part of the Life Cycle Management of the projects you will support and coordinate with pilot plant and manufacturing plant, as well as handle process and technology transfer between departments when relevant.

Responsibility:
  • Plan and execute formulation and process development
  • Manage the Life Cycle of the project, including managing process and tech transfer between R&D lab, pilot plant, and manufacturing plant
  • Development of new Liquid formulation technology including long acting injectable drug delivery systems
  • Identify opportunities in Innovation and utilise global network to establish new collaborations
  • Ensure GMP and other guidelines are upheld
About you:
  • PhD in pharmaceutical sciences, with 8+ years of experience (Industry experience is essential)
  • Extensive experience in Formulation of oral and parental drugs for small molecules drug products (alternatively from biologics)
  • Experienced managing LCM from end-to-end in formulation of complex drug products
  • Experienced working under strict GMP requirements
