Role Overview

A leading pharmaceutical company based in Verviers is seeking a dedicated Logistics Assistant. This role offers a dynamic environment where you can utilise your organisational skills to ensure seamless shipment processes. As the Logistics Assistant, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and monitoring shipments, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining cost efficiency.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

Your duties as the Logistics Assistant will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

  • Follow up on the status of orders before departure, resolve any issues, and ensure correct invoicing in the ERP system.
  • Book transport with suppliers, create transport and customs documents, and ensure compliance with legal and customer specifications.
  • Provide necessary information to internal and external parties regarding shipments, and make interventions as needed to ensure correct service delivery.
  • Organise and classify all shipping documents according to legal requirements, and prepare documentary remittances for financial institutions to ensure payment.

Role Requirements

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Logistics Assistant, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

  • Relevant degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Proven industry experience in logistics or supply chain management.
  • A working knowledge and practical experience with ERP systems and customs documentation.
