Mission/Role
As a Logistics Coordinator, you’ll be in charge of organizing international shipments of goods and equipment within the operational and commercial requirements with both internal and external procedures and applicable import/export regulations.
You’ll report to the Manager, Supply Chain and will daily collaborate with the Commercial Operations, Production and Services departments as well as with customers.
Among your tasks, you’ll
  • Prepare and process documents such as shipping documents, proforma invoice, certificate per the defined processes in place,
  • Organize shipments to anticipate the needs of I&I Services and the transport in relation with the priority and availability of material from the manufacturing and manage any claims when needed,
  • Verify compliance with requested shipping modalities and that all information is completed and correct in packing list,
  • Contact the potential partners, compares the offers (cost and deadline) and handles the negotiations
  • Initiate the invoicing process in the IT system for the consumables Services and approve invoices from the carries
  • Handle the chargeback of all transport costs to the clients and prepares credit notes,
  • Handle all customs formalities at products or equipment receipt,
  • Record carriers/transportation companies’ performance and costs.
You may be the ideal candidate if :
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree with minimum 2 years experience in international logistics or transport,
  • You have a critical and analytical mind,
  • You own great prioritization skills,
  • You’re able to make decisions and you’re eager for results,
  • You’re fluent in English and in French.
