As Logistics Officer, you will be responsible for the administrative handling and monitoring of the flow of goods within our warehouses.

Your Role & Responsibilities

  • You are the point of contact for our unloadings (both compliant and non-compliant)
  • You communicate any anomalies to the supplier and charge the resulting costs
  • You do the administrative processing of the orders and examine the open arrivals
  • You ensure correct and timely processing of unloading and loading data to ensure smooth and efficient operational processing
  • You are responsible for monitoring stock records and EADs
  • You analyze needs, tackle ad hoc problems and strive for continuous improvement and optimization of stock levels
  • You prepare and compile customer orders and take the necessary actions in case of problems
  • You monitor and support the KPIs , safety and represent both internally and externally the sustainable character of the company
  • You handle any quality incidents according to the predefined procedures and report this to the managers and the customer

Schedule

  • 8 Weeks: early shift: Mon to Fri 6am to 2pm (on Thursday until 2.30pm)
  • 1 Week: late shift: Mon to Fri 12.00-20.00 (on Thursday from 11.30); on Friday from 9am-17pm

Your profile

  • You enjoyed a bachelor’s degree or are equivalent through experience
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in an administrative role
  • You have a solid knowledge of the Office package (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
  • You are communicatively and administratively strong
  • You have a proactive attitude and know how to get things done
  • You are entrepreneurial and solution-oriented
  • You are a driven team player, value service and are stress resistant.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English (knowledge of French and/or German is a plus)
  • Knowledge of the Transport and Logistics sector is an asset
