The Process Engineer is planning, coordinating and assisting with execution and implementation of the business processes that needs to be installed from a warehouse operations perspective. In that function, he/she is working closely together with his/her counterparts within the operations community as well as counterparts within the IT department.

Position overview

  • Work in close cooperation with the process engineer project manager to develop processes and procedures to enhance and optimize warehouse logistics operations in line with our standard service offering and the business requirements of the client.
  • Develop warehouse logistics process flows and translate warehouse space and processes into systems parameters and configuration.
  • Assist in process design reviews to secure approvals.
  • Assist in the business testing efforts from a warehouse perspective.
  • Provide training and training documentation to the warehouse workforce to who the solution will be deployed.
  • Provide extensive go-live support during production implementation.

Must Have Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Good interpersonal, organizational, and planning skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment with little supervision.
  • High flexibility: this position requires mobility, the occasional working of unusual hours and extensive travel.

Required/Preferred Experience:

  • Master degree in engineering and/or logistics.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, operational management experience is a competitive advantage.
  • Excellent PC skills in MS Access, Excel, Word, Powerpoint.
  • Knowledge on Warehouse Management Systems (SAP WM, SAP EWM, BlueYonder WMS) and/or on Labor Management systems (BlueYonder WLM, etc.) is a competitive advantage.
  • English language skills are required; French or dutch language skills are desirable and other language skills would be an advantage.
