As manager Clinical Distribution Team (CDT) you will be part of the leadership team within Pharma DELIVER Belgium, a division of Johnson & Johnson. You will be leading and coaching a team of +/- 30 people. The Clinical Distribution Team is responsible for the set up and timely delivery of the clinical trial material for clinical trials worldwide supporting the Janssen Research & Development organization. Principal Duties Manage the CDT (Clinical Distribution team) that is part of the European Distribution network within Deliver and report in that capacity to the EDN director. Responsible for achieving the predetermined departmental objectives & KPI’s and translating them into objectives for your team and employees. Drive talent development throughout the CDT team by coaching, multiskilling, and job-rotations. Diversity and inclusivity are integrally linked to your leadership style. Serves as the Point of Contact for clinical distribution activities for customers as Clinical Supply Chain, Trails Supply Managers, Clinical Supply Integrators, Global Trial Managers, the transport departments & Warehouse Operations. Establishes and maintains strong working relationships with business and quality partners to ensure alignment of objectives and results. Represents the Clinical Distribution team as member of the EDN leadership team, challenge status quo and define with the leadership team the strategy for the department. Ensures compliance with the applicable GMP and GDP regulations and guidelines pro-active follow up of the objectives / KPI’s and evaluate team performance against targets that have been established responsible for the departmental budget & the cross-charge mechanism to CSC. supervise the necessary projects to achieve a world-class service level at the most optimal cost & to provide support to project managers who take care of the planning and realization of the projects. Qualifications Qualifications You acquired a master or bachelor’s in economics / engineering and have 5 or more years of related experience, and a strong interest in leading a diverse team. Dutch & English language are an asset to communicate effectively to the team & the stakeholders You are an experienced leader who is comfortable operating in a changing environment within a global organization. You see the big picture and are willing to adopt an End-to-End focus You communicate effectively with customers at multiple levels of the organization. You challenge the status quo, frame problems with the end goal in mind. You have a positive attitude, naturally stress resistant & love to work in an ever-changing environment You know the SHE & GMP/GDP standards.
