The Customer Service Manager will lead one of the Intercompany Operations Customer Service team in Zaventem to execute daily operations to support Pfizer intercompany flows. The role is responsible for providing conceptual and practical leadership. It will be successfully managing the team towards and through change, assuring and promoting a culture of customer satisfaction. By (co-)leading the organization and identifying and managing human and capital resources in the most efficient and effective manner, it will ensure the maintenance of positive and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally.
The Position
The position is responsible for day-to-day execution of Intercompany Operations Customer Service operational activities related to Pfizer intercompany product flows. This people manager role will lead a team of 8-10 Customer Service Representatives supporting multiple destination markets.
- Manage workload and team motivating of the team and ensuring development of individual colleagues.
- Partner with key stakeholders (internally and externally) on projects and represent Intercompany Operations Customs Service.
- Focus on continuous improvement by managing new flows and change related to the activities within your responsibility area and implementing changes within the team to support the day-to-day activities.
- Develop, maintain and manage KPI’s related to operational activities within the team’s scope.
- Clear and timely communication and escalation of challenges to relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance standards, including GMP and GDP are adhered to in the team and be ambassador in this area.
- Location: Zaventem (Belgium). For this position we do not offer relocation.
- Bachelor’s Degree, University Degree or equivalent through experience
- Experience in budget management, working in international and multifunctional organisation and people management
- Positive leadership and ability to work closely with peer team leads to co-leading the broader organisation
- Team player with a strong ability to manage cross-functional teams
- Customer and service oriented
- Result oriented problem solver
- Strong and effective communicator with proven ability to understand and influence key stakeholders
- Continuous improvement mindset challenging the status quo
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English (any other language is a plus)
