About the job :

  • You closely follow the market and trends in various domains (consumer goods).
  • You carry out reliable and substantiated analyses to compile a representative sample of products/services to use later in the context of comparative tests.
  • You maintain regular contact with manufacturers, the distribution sector and professional associations regarding the availability of products/services. You reinforce your analyses with field work, which consists of regularly obtaining information directly through the points of sale.
  • You organize and assist with the purchases of the products that were selected for the comparative tests.
  • You check and analyse store prices (online and offline) before they are published and interpreted.
  • You provide analyses, reports and comparisons in your domain with a view to publishing information through our various channels (magazines, web, social media). You pay special attention to price aspects (composition of the sales price, price evolutions, price relationships with our neighboring countries, etc.).
  • Together with your colleagues, you share the responsibility for publishing various dossiers and purchasing guides on the website and in the magazine, and for managing the databases regarding the tested products.
  • You stick to a strict planning and you answer questions from internal and external customers, as well as from our subscribers, on time.
  • You actively participate in decision-making about planning, the choice of products and the area of application in your specialization.
  • For certain market studies you work together with national and international colleagues.

About you :

  • Bachelor or Master degree, preferably with an economic or marketing orientation.
  • You have acquired initial experience in market research.
  • You have a good knowledge of the second national language and professional English.
  • You are familiar with classic Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel.
  • You are a team player, flexible and communicative with a keen sense of analysis, synthesis, as well as punctuality and organization.
  • You can identify with the spirit and objectives of a consumer association.
