To strengthen this activity, Dafra Pharma is looking to recruit a Marketing & Communication Managerto join the highly motivated and professional Dafra team in the international head office in Turnhout, Belgium

Responsibilities

You initiate and implement inspiring and successful marketing and communication strategies in support of our African pharma business and market launches. You know better than anyone else how you can train, coach, engage and lead a team of 4 resourceful marketing employees at the Turnhout office. You monitor the market data and budgets closely. In close interaction with the Sales Department, you bolster our corporate image through targeted internal and external (digital) communications, packaging, advertising, promotional material, events and so on. You help them reach their goals and targets. With finance, the supply chain, business development, regulatory affairs and our pharmaceutical experts, you build a good collaborative relationship. You are meticulous in your reporting to the CEO with whom you work closely together on the global growth strategy.

Profile

You have a relevant and successful experience in a similar position, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry. Marketing and sales experience is essential; experience in working in/with Africa is a major asset. You are in a position to travel to Africa regularly (on a monthly basis). You have a good command of written and oral French and English. But most of all, you are a digital native. You are good at motivating and managing people: a manager who is customer oriented and who can work well together with others. You are disciplined and you have an ethical and loyal attitude to work. You understand the role of marketing in support to the sales oriented Dafra organisation.
