Job Description

GfK Belgium is located in the beautiful of Leuven. We have a mix of young and experienced team that work together to provide the best market research insights and solutions for our clients. As a Marketing Specialist, you will report to the Regional Marketing Manager, but you will closely work with different members throughout our organization. You will coordinate local marketing efforts and be the point of reference for internal communications.

As a Marketing & Communications Specialist, you have the following responsibilities:

• Developing new content to improve our employer branding
• Aligning with the Regional and Global teams on communication strategies
• Coordinating internal and external events in cooperation with the Commercial team
• Managing internal communications in the company
• Continually innovate, develop and suggest enhancements for better visibility

Now that we have introduced you to the Marketing role, what skills, qualifications and experience do you need to have??

• At least 1 or 2 years of experience in communication/marketing roles
• University degree
• Flexible, agile mind-set, generally pro-active and open-minded
• A team player
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills in English, Dutch and French
• Practical understanding and working experience in digital communication channels (multimedia content creation, graphic design, blogging, social media community management, web analytics, content promotion via Google AdWords etc.)
• Well-developed IT skills including advanced Microsoft Office applications, PowerPoint and Excel
