Our mission ????

In 2016, our founders wanted to feed their dogs - named Edgard and Cooper - pet food they could feel good about. The kind of food that was as good for the planet as it was for their pets. But when they couldn’t find this, they decided to make their own. Now, 6 years later, our pack has 200 employees and we are beyond proud to be part of the B Corp movement.

What type of breed are we looking for? ????

We’re looking for a passionate marketing intern to join our team at the

headquarters here in Kortrijk. At Edgard & Cooper, the marketing team are

our creative pet foodies, the gate keepers of the brand, ensuring our Edgard

& Cooper ethos is embodied within our products whilst developing the pull

and push strategies to drive success.

What will be in your bowl? ????

MARKETING

As a marketing intern, you will be a great support to the marketing team in

Belgium. You will have your own responsibilities and projects.

SOCIAL MEDIA

Is Instagram your second best friend? Do you have a digital mindset? Your

ultimate goal is to set up creative influencer campaigns from A to Z and build

strong relationships with the to make sure they spread the Edgard & Cooper-

love everywhere.

EVENTS & BRAND ACTIVATIONS

During your internship, you will be of great support to the Event & Brand

Activation Manager. Do you have some nose-to-tail planning skills, love to

think out-of-the-box and adore to make people & pets happy? Well, if so, we

would love to meet you!

OTHER

We’re a fast-growing start-up company - life is full of surprises, so we might

throw in some other commercial, creative and fun stuff to do.

What skills & tricks should you bring? ????

• You love pets, of course!
• You are a hungry marketing genius looking for a new challenge
• You are available for at least 3 months
• You are still enrolled in a university or business school and you are studying towards a Master’s Degree, or you have finished your Master’s Degree and you’re looking for a first working experience as an intern
• You have excellent (verbal and written) communication skills
• You have good time-management skills with a problem-solving and “can do” attitude
• You know how to handle MS Office (MS Excel in particular)
• You are fluent in Dutch and English. Speaking French is a bonus!
• Having other marketing-related experiences is a real plus!

Ideal start date: May 2022

Recruitment process: First you will have a phone or video call with the hiring manager for this role, followed by one or two additional competency based interviews, and then we will make an offer.
