Job Description

The Marketing Manager is responsible for analyzing the Additives market for the Division, defining and implementing - in coordination with the Marketing Director - a marketing strategy that aims to deliver significant above market sales growth and provide support to the sales teams and 80 customers of the Division.

This role handles market analysis and research on current and new trending products, identifies new business opportunities, defines the strategic product offering, pricing and packaging, guides sales teams, develops messaging and market positioning around products, and takes part in presentations and events with 80 customers.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure in-depth market research and analysis for Additives. Identify end-user and 80 customer needs, business new opportunities and trends. Estimate market size, market share and potential. Perform competition analysis.
  • Define marketing strategies for Additives by end-user, channel and segment. Define the 80-product offering, added value proposition, competitive advantage and growth strategy plan together with the Marketing Director.
  • Identify New Product opportunities, plan and lead the launch of new products, involving different departments.
  • Deliver focus and simplification with strategic Product Line Simplification (PLS).
  • Develop and implement the Division pricing strategy.
  • Frame and support actions/promotional activities with Marcom and SMgrs (DUO’s).
  • Analyze internal sales data to regularly define actions to increase sales and margins and minimize slow movers.
  • Communicate the vision and value of new and key products to the sales team and develop sales tools that facilitate the selling process.
  • Provide on field support to 80 customers for the Division.
  • Coordinate and participate in promotional activities and customer events, working with the Marketing Communications team to market products.
Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree required (or equivalent work experience).
  • 5 years of demonstrated experience in marketing as Marketing or Brand Manager with B2C experience.
  • Fluent in English; French and Spanish will be beneficial.
  • Excellent communication, both oral and written, copywriting skills are a plus.
  • Passion and drive to deliver results
  • Exceptional Project management and time management skills; ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects with overlapping goals and objectives.
  • Knowledge on Digital Marketing best practices.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft software (Excel, Power BI, Power Point, Outlook, Word) and web analytics tools (Google Analytics, WebTrends)
  • Innovative and forward-thinking.
  • Analytical mind and strong quantitative skills.
  • Adaptable and flexible; responsive and resourceful in a fast-paced environment.
  • Actively listens and participates within a team environment.
  • Open to travel.
