Working environment

Audi Brussels is a production site located at the heart of Europe and part of the Audi Group. We started to produce the A1 in 2010. As of 2018, Audi Brussels is the very first Audi-site to produce an all-electric car, the Audi e-tron, but also its high voltage battery.

As a Material Dispatcher, you will work in an international supply chain environment with the aim of establishing constructive cooperation with your international suppliers and transporters as well as with internal Audi colleagues.

Your function

  • You are responsible for the permanent availability of standard parts in order to ensure a smooth supply of materials, even in critical situations such as capacity problems at suppliers.
  • You manage the follow-up of orders thanks to the information available in the system and you intervene personally where necessary.
  • In order to ensure optimal stock management and transport costs, you are the contact person for the international suppliers and transporters assigned to you, as well as for all parties involved at Audi.
  • You ensure an adequate flow of information within Audi Brussels.
  • You closely monitor the management of potential difficulties and ensure capacity control in collaboration with colleagues in the group and the other factories concerned.

Your profile

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in logistics or equivalent by experience.
  • You have 8-10 years experience in a similar position.
  • You have a good knowledge and understanding of logistics processes and associated systems.
  • You are well organized, are able to work independently and you have good analytical thinking skills.
  • You negotiate appropriately and logically, but never lose the human aspect’s sight. You also have good persuasive skills.
  • You are stress resistant and able to prioritize and make the right decisions.
  • You have good knowledge of MS Office.
  • You are fluent in three of the following languages: French, Dutch, German, English and are willing to learn the fourth.
