Your Responsibilities:

· Mechanical development of advanced new machines for the graphic industry. This in consultation with the project leaders, product manager and the R&D team. The designs are made in Solid Works by yourself or a CAD designer.

· These machines consist of mechanical, servo-controlled, pneumatic and micro peizo-controlled movements. Some of these movements are accurate to (sub) micrometer scale.

· This machine usually also contains optical components such as lenses, mirrors, high and low power lasers and fibers.

· Assembling these prototype machines yourself in order to discover initial assembly problems.

· Further testing and improving these machines until all objectives have been achieved.

· Making these prototypes ready for production via a defined gate process.

· Consult with production, service to find solutions for problems in the field.

· You report to the R&D manager.

· Steering the work of CAD designers.

Our Requirements:

· You received technical training in electro mechanics. Minimum master, or equivalent through experience.

· Minimum 10 years of relevant experience

· Fundamental understanding of mechanical principles.

· Software programming is an advantage, eg Codesys

· You are a self-starter and have a structured work approach

· You are Hands-on with a very great passion for technology

· You can think outside the box to find solutions to difficult technical problems.

· You are fluent in communication and can collaborate with the different disciplines of R&D such as the Cad designers, Project leaders, Electronics, Optics and software team.

· You have a good knowledge of English, knowledge of Dutch is nice to have.

· You are stress resistant.
