The responsibility also extends to the supervision and coordination of lifesciences, pharmaceutical, medical device products, country Healthcare regulatory requirements and country regulatory requirements for controlled substances storage & distribution practices that are in line with the EU GDP, IATA CEIV and the PSA BDP Global Pharma Guidelines.Tasks and responsibilities:Overall- Formulates strategic and operational objectives.
- Provide LSH operational expertise to operational teams and sales
- Manage and lead the operations team (all modes of transport) to be LSH capable
- Ensure all operations related to LSH are carried out cost effectively accordingly to GDP guidelines
- Explore ways to reduce customer costs, while achieving compliance to LSH GDP requirements
- Ensure operational adherence to regulatory, contractual, and SOP-driven obligations.
- Oversee the entire operational process for the pharmaceutical sector with the Quality Manager.
- Interact with colleagues, suppliers, customers, and regulatory parties to ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.
- Develop and maintain key interfaces with management, teams, partners, customers, and government authorities.
- Monitor performance indicators such as complaints, deviations, CAPAs, changes, and training needs.
- Manage critical LSH supplier contracts, SLAs, and Quality Agreements aligned with global LSH GDP procedures.
- Actively involved in onboarding and implementing a new LSH customer SOPs
- Directly involved in hyper-care period during implementation
- Managing the operations budget as well as full participation on total operations financial planning / focusing
- Install, monitor and improve the operational LSH processes and turn into best practices.
- Identify opportunities for operation and process improvement
- Develop plans for cost-of-quality improvement projects.
- Supervise local training activities related to LSH services.
- Maintain local training records.
- Demonstrate LSH knowledge sharing to operation teams
- Perform national Pharma and Healthcare audits as an official nominated and trained PSA BDP LSH operation auditor.
- Supervise standard global LSH trainings and coordinate local employee training.
- Create and execute self-inspection plans in coordination with the Quality Manager.
- Manage/Support/Lead internal and external audits related to Lifesciences & Healthcare.
- Address and resolve anomalies and problems arising during normal operations.
- Monitor processes using LSH KPIs and provide reports to local management in the monthly/quarterlymanagement review as per PSA BDP guidelines.
- Coordinate investigations of pharma complaints and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Manage the risk management system for new processes or changes to existing procedures.
- Ensure up-to-date documentation compliance with relevant regulations.
- Ensure adherence to global Pharma guidelines and report necessary information to the Global Pharma Manager.
- Designate and document the delegated person of the Pharma Manager for smooth handover during absences.
- Excellent understanding of pharma regulations

- At least 10 years’ experience in Lifesciences and Healthcare industry
- Experience covering the region will be a plus
- Excellent knowledge of Quality Management Systems :ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and TAPA), AEO, GDP & IATA CEIV
- Minimum Graduate and additional qualifications in supply chain management will be helpful.
