Your challenge

Human Capital Services is an experienced partner in HR, tax and business immigration services.

They provide professional consultancy services in tax compliance, international
employment services etc., helping organizations and individuals to work smarter, grow faster and reach their goals.

The personal tax department offers appropriate solutions to multinational and local organizations concerning personal income tax, taxation of non-residents, salary splits and expatriate tax concessions.

The department is looking for a Personal Tax Consultant for the Belgian office.In this position, the Consultant will be actively involved in activities relating to both compliance and consulting for a large number of national and international clients.

Responsibilities

• Guide clients during the complete process of a project (follow up from A till Z),
• Assist clients with tax audits and tax claims,
• Handle compliance services for individuals (also expatriates): salary splits, expat calculations,…
• Prepare resident and non-resident income tax returns
• Assist international companies with HR matters: employment, labour contracts, optimisation of salary packages etc..
• Provide clients with clear (written) advice by conducting research and making the necessary calculations.
• Be in direct contact with clients, colleagues abroad and other partner organizations.

The Requirements

• Master’s/ bacahelor’s degree in (Applied) Economic Sciences or Commercial Sciences or a degree in Law, or a degree in business management
• A tax degree is a plus,
• Specialization in Personal income tax for expats or salary split,
• Fluent in Dutch/Flemish, English (and French)
• Ability to work autonomously and work as a team player with excellent project management skills,
• Flexible, accurate and eager to learn,
• Good communication and organizational skills,
• Proactive and hands on mentality,
• Adherence to the highest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentiality.
