The vaccine project manager will work across the region to support the PES Site Leads and Janssen Virtual Management teams with the delivery of both base business project activities as well as critical projects to deliver on Product Life Cycle Management and/or Commercial needs. In addition, the Project Manager is responsible to Maintain oversight of the various project needs for the region, establishes an overall optimized project masterplan for the region, ensures timely initiation and follow up of individual projects. This role retains project management responsibilities to develop and drive the execution to plans to deliver key business needs, operational improvements, and value, including capturing and scoping new project needs, especially for project that touch multiple CMO sites. This position coordinates, facilitates and at time owns project outcomes. Including coordination for projects involving peers, team members and stakeholders across multiple Janssen functions including Quality, Technical Operations, Planning, PES, Deliver, Bex and others. This role also coordinates with our CMO counterparts via the Janssen virtual management teams and leaders to create alignment, to develop plans, and deliver on execution of projects. The role will report to the PES Program Support Lead and will support the Site PES leads and Regional leads for project execution for the respective PES Site. MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Maintains oversight of the various project needs for the region, establishes an overall optimized project masterplan for the region, ensures timely initiation and follow up of individual projects Track and report on the execution of project deliverables and monitor performance metrics and targets with the goal of improving project execution and delivering on project goals and objectives Manage and facilitate teams, lead teams and people indirectly, to ensure project execution and timely communications, escalations, and delivery of outcomes Represent the PES organization during the scoping of new project needs in the Vaccines network Qualifications Master Degree and 8+ years of experience are required 4+ experience in the areas of project or program management and/or general manufacturing (pharma DS or DP, biologics, or other similarly regulated industries) or business management (business development, procurement, value chain management). Demonstrated cross-cultural people and team leadership. Demonstrated knowledge of functions including Quality, Technical Operations, Finance, Planning and Procurement. Understanding of end-to-end supply chain considerations and methods of driving project execution, including FPX methodologies, program management methodologies.
