Your role & responsibilities

  • Prepare daily optimal and cost-conscious transport planning
  • Optimize combinations and routings of the transport orders
  • Make pre-planning and adjust planning in response to changes
  • Keep software package up to date
  • Report waiting hours, follow up and provide feedback to customer service and the carriers
  • Smooth, targeted and correct communication internally and externally

Working hours

Weekend work

Every Saturday 8 a.m.-4 p.m. and every Sunday 8 a.m.-1 p.m.

To be supplemented with work during the week if necessary:

This is possible on Monday, Thursday or Friday between 7 am and 7 pm (number of working hours and number of days per week can be discussed depending on the wishes of the candidate)

During the training you work during the week, as soon as you can work independently, you switch to the weekend schedule

Your profile

You have the following qualities:

  • Bachelor level of thinking or equated with experience
  • Demonstrable work experience in transport
  • Geographical knowledge of UK is a plus
  • Dutch and English: spoken and written well
  • Communicative
  • Organizational talent
  • Able to set priorities
