AsSenior Manager with deep sector knowledge and expertise, you will be responsible to deliver and advise our clients in building foundations for robust finance and business processes. You will develop and expand relationships with existing and potential clients of Deloitte. In cooperation with motivated colleagues from the PU&R team, you will develop new markets (for example: upstream renewable production and downstream supply segments), where you will be given the necessary freedom to shape your own go-to-market initiatives.
At the client, you will:
- Participate in pre-sales, lead proposal and RFP initiatives. Lead, organize and coordinate projects.
- Rethink the finance organisation of our clients; (re)gain control over the financial impact of their business processes; improve and accelerate their closing, consolidation; improve the effectiveness and efficiency of plans, budgets, and forecasts; rationalize and improve the production of management reporting and analysis…
- Increase visibility, enhance the decision making process, help them get a view of key business sensitivities and their impact, and support strategic decisions.
- In your role you will connect with different sustainable communities within and outside Deloitte, and be part of the future development of our team, service and solution offerings.
- Participate and provide input in our different business development initiatives and management meetings. Be the go-to person for networking events and business initiatives you lead in the PU&R industry.
- Build internal (Deloitte) and external (market) eminence for the PU&R industry, i.e. develop training, elaborate on trends, bring point of views to the market, etc.
Let’s talk about you
- 8 to 12 years of work experience, of which the last 4 years in the PU&R industry. You have proven experience of industry players’ operating model and business processes.
- In sync with the industry’s challenges, you are passionate about sustainability and digital /tech-savvy (prior conduction of projects in these fields is a plus).
- You have strong financial background with over 6 years’ experience in one or more of the following areas finance organisation and operations (accounting, controlling, …); closing, consolidation & reporting; finance process optimization. Experience in external audit is an asset. Certifications like CFA, CMA, or equivalents are a plus.
- You have a genuine curiosity for understanding how organisations operate (business processes). You challenge the status-quo, are hands-on, results-oriented and quality-driven with outstanding analytical skills.
- You are familiar with ERPs, Performance Management tools, data visualization /dashboarding tooling.
- Project management skills, a commercial attitude and are willing to further market our services.
- Excellent social and communicative skills, enabling you to adapt quickly to a new environment.
- You are a true team player, but also highly organized and self-sufficient, upbeat and enthusiastic.
- High degree of integrity by honouring commitments and demonstrating consistent and predictable follow-up.
- You are fluent in French and English, with professional proficiency in Dutch.
