PR & Communication Intern

We’re looking for an enthusiastic PR & Communication Intern to join our Marketing team at our Antwerp headquarters. If you’re a motivated storyteller eager to explore the world of international fashion communication and contribute to the colorful world of Essentiel Antwerp, this could be your next adventure.

Your mission

As a PR & Communication Intern, you’ll support the PR & Communication Coordinator in translating the company’s vision into effective marketing and PR strategies. You’ll help strengthen Essentiel Antwerp’s international presence through targeted local and global initiatives.

Task description

• Support daily communication with external PR agencies across our key markets.
• Showroom management: organize sample loans from our in-house press showroom to stylists, ensuring a curated and organized selection at all times, while maintaining good contacts with people of interest.
• Help plan and execute press days (April & November), and possible other internal and external events.
• Assist in influencer seeding, gifting, and sponsorship campaigns, from planning to follow-up.
• Collaborate on creative projects, photoshoots and campaigns.
• Track and analyse media coverage, influencer content, and gifting impact.
• Identify and assess potential partners and content creators aligned with our brand values and visual identity.
• Pitch in with copywriting, brainstorming sessions, and strategic rollouts.
• Contribute to social media content: research trends, propose ideas, and help produce engaging visuals in line with our brand tone.

Skills & experience

• You are in your 3rd Bachelor or Master in marketing, business, or communication during the internship.
• You are available for a full-time internship, based in Antwerp, starting at the end of January 2026 and for a minimum of 4 months
• You have a strong passion for fashion and excellent communication skills, both written and spoken; fluent in Dutch and English. French is a plus.
• You have excellent organizational and flexibility skills.
• You are hands-on, proactive, and detail-oriented.
• You are familiar with fashion media, PR landscapes, and influencer marketing.
• You have a good eye for aesthetics and strong interest in content creation and social media.
• You are comfortable with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
