Employer detailsSoftware 4 healthcareJob DescriptionAs a Technical Sales Consultant you are responsible for the introduction and sale of our sustainable IT solutions to the healthcare sector in Belgium. In this position you are driven to add new customers to our customer portfolio as well as to further expand our services to existing customers. In addition to expanding the customer portfolio, you are also involved in the further expansion of our client’s product portfolio.In this exciting position you have a direct impact on the growth of our client and you work in close consultation with business and sales management.What are your responsibilities?- As a Technical Sales Consultant your role consists of:
- supporting Belgian hospitals with regard to integrations, interoperability and transversal work processes;
- consultation with the customer with the aim of optimally connecting the client solutions to the existing infrastructure;
- following (inter)national standards (KMEHR, FHIR, HL7, IHE, XDS,...) and regional initiatives;
- translating customer questions into concrete and feasible solutions (cf. the client’s portfolio) in close cooperation with the service team and product managers / R&D;
- strengthening the commercial department in relation management and following up on existing customers, preparing quotations and marketing initiatives;
- focusing on business development and active prospecting with a view to winning new assignments.
- In addition, you also ensure an expansion of the range so that the client can strengthen its presence with existing customers and can also offer these new solutions to other healthcare institutions and healthcare networks.
- You combine a master’s degree (in economics, marketing, commercial sciences, computer science, ...) with a solid experience in and thorough knowledge of IT activities within the healthcare sector.
- You have an analytical mind and strong logical thinking, which enables you to think along with customers and give sound advice.
- Your commercial insight allows you to subject every market opportunity to the SMART principle.
- You are meticulous in following up on customers and strive for a long-term relationship at all times.
- You are social, customer-oriented and communicative.
- Given the frequent customer contacts, you can express yourself fluently in Dutch, French and English.
