Preventieadviseur/People Partner

Work in the People & Communications team.

Manage, support and develop new talent in a physically and psychologically safe work environment. Ensure streamlined communications and strong internal and external positioning.

Your duties as a People Partner

As an HR generalist

• You are the point of contact for employees, supervisors and management for your assigned business and you are backup for the other business units. You support and advise them on all kinds of People related issues;
• You are familiar with all people processes (recruitment, onboarding, development, employer branding, leadership, reward, engagement, culture, employee services, well-being, etc.) and help optimize where necessary;
• You take ownership to further develop the people processes entrusted to you, tailored to Wyre (development, leadership, employee services, ... );
• You are able to bring managers to a higher level by applying good conversation and coaching techniques;
• You form the link between the organization and our ecosystem for related shared services activities (e.g. HR admin, payroll, comp & ben center of excellence, ...).

Your tasks as Prevention Advisor

• You support management, supervisors and employees in the area of prevention. You identify hazards in the execution of their activities, you support the employer in the development of risk analyses and you help follow up the implementation of prevention measures;
• You elaborate a welfare policy together with stakeholders, promote the safety culture during your daily work and help to develop and maintain it;
• You participate as secretary in the Prevention and Protection Committee, taking care of the organization and drafting the minutes. You will also participate in workplace visits with a delegation from the CPBW;
• You ensure proper follow-up of the legally defined obligations of the CPBW, including the preparation and follow-up of action plans;
• You participate in the development of a clear communication regarding the SHE policy of the company, including the management of the SHE intranet site;
• You participate in the analysis, preparation and follow-up of incidents and accidents;
• You are point of contact for the work accident insurer, the Federal Public Service (FPS WASO) and the external service (EDPW).

Our ideal People Partner/ Prevention Consultant.

• Minimum bachelor’s degree;
• Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience in a people environment where you have learned multiple People processes;
• Level 2 Prevention Advisor (and/or willing to obtain this degree as soon as you start the position);
• Minimum basic knowledge of social legislation;
• Fluent multilingual NL-EN. Good knowledge of FR is a plus;
• Dare to speak up;
• Have a good balance between being customer oriented and guarding boundaries;
• You have a sense of initiative and get energy from helping to expand our organization;
• You are mature, communicative and discrete;
• You are a real hands-on team player, learn quickly and don’t think in boxes.
