Function: Pricing Analyst EMEA

Reporting to: Group Manager Pricing EMEA


Scope:

  • Provide pricing analytics support to the EMEA organization including pricing analyses, reports development and monitoring
  • Support execution of regional pricing processes, including CPQ (Configure-Price-Quote) tool, price setting, operations and usage of pricing tools
  • Support ensuring regional organization’s view increased focus on pricing and value vs. volume/revenue and market shares (volume / value)
  • Support the Group Manager Pricing to drive pricing process transformation and maturity to improve all key pricing processes effectiveness and efficiency at the EMEA and country level, leading to optimised net prices
  • Support identification and problem solving of regional and country pricing challenges

Responsibilities


  • Pricing operations/execution:
    • Support EMEA pricing processes, e.g., floor prices, target prices, etc.
    • Support countries in deployment and use of existing CPQ tool:
      • Support users on incidents
      • Understand data flows and tool functionality
      • Manage updates and provision of data from established Terumo Interventional Systems sources
      • Administration of users/access rights
    • Collaborate with other departments to spotlight price performance across EMEA

  • Price reporting and monitoring:
    • Support Group Manager Pricing with reporting needs
    • Run ad-hoc and regular pricing analyses
    • Propose enhancements to existing reports
    • Identify and trouble-shoot problems with reports
    • Implement new reports as guided by the Group Manager Pricing
    • Create tools, as required, to enhance data analysis capabilities in the countries
    • Run analyses in the context of all EMEA pricing aspects incl. analyses of ongoing pricing performance
    • Identify new pricing opportunities, and suggest improvements

  • Pricing process transformation:
    • Support Group Manager Pricing with PMO and project tracking
    • Consolidate activities and coordinate with regional reporting processes
    • Change reports based on new requirements
    • Support the deployment of the Terumo Interventional Systems framework
    • Support the development of other regional Pricing initiatives in countries

  • Establish strong and collaborative relationships with colleagues across a wide range of functions that perform pricing activities

Profile

  • Bachelor or Masters degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing or other business-related degree
  • Proficient with detailed analytics
  • Strong research and synthesis skills (e.g., translate analysis and facts into implications and recommendations)
  • Good financial knowledge
  • 1-3 years experience as an Analyst (pricing experience desirable) in previous positions
  • Experience in at least one role with Pricing, Marketing, Sales or Finance
  • Solid capability in systems/software (e.g. Microsoft Excel, databases, analytical/statistical tools,)
  • Good communication skills, combining knowledge of detailed analysis and the talent to communicate these comprehensively
  • Successful experience in working with different cultures and environments
  • Fluent in English, knowledge of other European languages is a plus
