What You Will Do at Prophix

As a Product Manager, you will join our first-class team and will proactively work to prioritize and drive the successful definition of new areas and epics for Prophix’s Financial Close solutions. You will work with our customers and subject matter experts to directly impact the success of our immediate financial solutions for the finance office.

• Be responsible for ensuring we build the right product by working directly with customers and subject matter experts to understand their needs and define requirements.
• Define the business priorities, including negotiation and optimization of multiple trade-offs. 
• Partner with development and UX leaders to monitor, evaluate, prioritize, design, guide and deliver impactful products for your scrum team.
• Leverage design thinking techniques and strategies to collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to refine requirements, map solutions to business and technical problems, and bring the product to market.
• Define epics, features, and stories to drive continuous and successful development momentum.
• Maintain a strong sense of accountability and ownership of the product.
• Manage timelines and deliverables.
• Have strong technical skills, but care deeply about customer success and business value.
• Be an excellent communicator who can explain complex technical ideas and effectively engage with peers, team members, and external .

What You Will Bring to Prophix

To shine in this role, you will bring a unique combination of Product Management depth, design thinking approaches, and experience with financial processes. You will be solution-focused, analytical, have strong organization skills, and an excellent communicator. You will have a proven record of accomplishment working across departments with people from different functional backgrounds, fostering strong partnerships across the company, and advocating on behalf of customers.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or finance.
• At least 5 years of product management experience in business application software.
• 2+ years of experience with SaaS product management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas and concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Methodical approach to delivery with attention to detail and ability to keep track of multiple projects concurrently.
• Ability to work independently and assimilate new ideas quickly.
• Understanding of agile product development life cycle.
• Experience with various product management and design thinking techniques and processes.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Must be legally entitled to work in the country where the role is located. Must be able to travel to the United States, Canada and/or internationally and have a valid passport.

Preferred Qualifications

• Have a solid financial background.
• Have worked with financial planning and budgeting applications such as Prophix.
• Have experience with Agile Development / Iterative process-oriented development/feature-driven development.
• Understand cloud services and SaaS.
• Proficiency in French is preferred.
