You are used setting priorities and working independently, with focus on
technical support and coordinate sales activities and customers, market research to meet business goals and increase market share.

Working within the BeLux Electrification Smart Buildings (ELSB) Product Marketing team of Electrification Business Area, you will be responsible for implementing and supporting product marketing strategies in line with global product strategy.

You will be reporting to the BeLux Product Marketing Director ELSB,

Your responsibilities

  • Supporting our ABB customers to implement the right products in their projects, typical customers are the system integrators (HVAC & electrical), engineering offices and installers.
  • Supporting our sales with bids & proposals of the complete Building Automation portfolio (Cylon, KNX and Energy Efficiency)
  • Keeping Product Group, Sales and channels informed on topics related to the product, such as new product availability, market, competition, quality, configuration, trends and limitations.
  • Implementing the local go-to–market product marketing strategy and all marketing activities.
  • Supporting sales organization in driving sales and services of respective products, providing relevant materials to them
  • Evaluating and sharing customer research, market conditions and studies of other companies
  • Driving sales efficiency by delivering appropriate product knowledge information and training (technical and sales) for the sales team.

Your background

  • At least 5 years of experience in Product and system support within Building automation. KNX and BACnet are your 2 favorite building languages.
  • Demonstrated experience working with enterprise resource planning and standard operating procedures
  • A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
  • Hands-on mentality to fully support our customers and provide training
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, French being an asset.
  • You have good communication and planning skills and you take initiative.
  • Self-motivation and independent working approach.
  • Master or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering – Automation – Process flow or related.
