Would you like to be a subject matter expert and product owner to provide storage automation guidelines, standards and best practices for our storage technologies within our private cloud platforms?

What does the job entail?

• Be a subject matter expert and product owner to provide storage automation guidelines, standards and best practices for our storage technologies within our private cloud platforms
• Enable and enhance continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline for storage infrastructure as code
• Enhance and improve routine maintenance and repeatable tasks using code. Simplify the storage infrastructure deployment and configuration at scale
• Extend the self-service portal with end-to-end automation for storage provisioning workflows
• Maintain source code, implement automated testing, storage provisioning and deprovisioning workflows for our private cloud platforms
• Follow up op code issues & bugs
• Discuss with storage vendors and stakeholders on using storage api’s from various technologies
• Drive the automation process adoption through documentation, tech talks, etc.Coach and assist peers and junior engineers in your area of expertise
• Identify Key Performance Indicators of our services and automate monitoring, incident response, and alerting and create intelligent automations to self heal and self remediate to prevent issues before they occur
• Collaborate with peers and stakeholders in the execution of code reviews, proof of concepts, pilots, and the technology adoption life cycles.

Who are we looking for?

• 3+ years of proven track record about automation frameworks
• Proven experience with Bash scripting & Python programming
• Proven experience in infrastructure as code (Ansible, Yaml, REST API’s etc.)
• Knowledge of continuous delivery and application lifecycle tools (Jenkins, JIRA, Git, etc.)
• Strong analytical/problem-solving skills, ability to provide alternatives, root cause analysis, testing skills and ability to make thoughtful proposals
• Familiarity with Active Directory, LDAP, DNS, SSH
• Good hands-on knowledge of Operating Systems (Linux and Windows)
• Hands-on experience with managing enterprise & mission critical storage environments is a plus
• Able to work well independently and as part of a team
• Creative and entrepreneurial with a ‘can-do’ attitude
• Effective oral and written Dutch & English communications skills.
