Production assistant for an international AV news environment

Functieomschrijving

Main tasks

  • Managing a day to day planning – coordinating – booking of camera crews and equipment in Belgium or abroad
  • Managing the production of breaking news, as well as news features
  • Pro-active planning for future events (crews, accreditations, equipment, etc.)
  • Budget management and follow-up
  • Adapting the workflow to the needs
  • Coordinating with headquarters in Lyon
  • Booking lives and facilities in Belgium and abroad
  • Booking trips abroad
  • Requesting the necessary accreditations and film permits
  • Helping with research and looking for interviewees
  • Checking incoming invoices

Jouw profiel

  • Fluent French and English is a must
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience of 2 years in similar environment
  • Proactive and a problem solver
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks against tight deadlines and keep overview
  • You are meticulous, organized and methodical
  • The flexibility to adapt to changing requests / circumstances
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
