Bridgers is a Belgian business and technology consultancy active in Banking, Insurance, Asset Management, the Public Sector, Telecom and Utilities. We help clients in all phases of change from advisory to deployment. We focus on different areas of expertise, including Change Management, Data Management, Business Intelligence and Technology Solutions.

Opportunity background

For a project in the transmission system management sector, we are looking for a Program Manager. The sector has to deal with changes to the energy landscape and the opportunities offered by digitisation. Data is playing a key role in supporting these evolutions: data is increasingly becoming an enabler for the decisionmaking process. As a result, there are several data-related challenges: increasing data quality given the direct impact on decisions; enabling the integration of data from different sources; reviewing our data management processes and applications to prepare for the challenges of tomorrow, etc. The team you’ll be working in, focuses on initiatives that support such challenges.

What you’ll be doing

• Manage the portfolio of cross-cutting projects and programs (definition, arbitration and approval), in collaboration with fellow project managers, streamleaders, process owners and hierarchy.
• Maintain and update vision and roadmap linked to the program. Preparation and animation of SteerCo’s.
• Implementation (harmonization, planning, implementation, training) and alignment (governance) of complex high value-added change projects to ensure achievement of project objectives.
• Responsible for proper communication and adequate reporting on projects or programs to ensure all stakeholders have the information they need to accomplish their mission within the project.
• Where applicable, lead members of project teams to work together as a cohesive team, competent and motivated to achieve project objectives as planned.
• Where applicable, select external project support partners to provide professional support during project execution according to best value for money.

Skills & qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in/knowledge of data management, governance, architecture, modeling, ...
• Proven experience as a program manager.
• You are able to communicate assertively, also with colleagues from other countries.
• You are analytical, flexible and have excellent planning and organizational skills.
• You have a master degree, preferably in engineering or IT.
• You can work independently and in a team and you can come up with creative solutions
• Trilingual (fluent in Dutch, French and English). German is an asset.
